Jessica Shoulders is a partner at ELPO Law, where her practice focuses primarily on representing individuals who have suffered serious injuries due to the negligence of others. Jessica has extensive experience handling a wide range of personal injury cases, motor vehicle accidents, and other premises liability claims. She works tirelessly to ensure her clients receive full compensation for their injuries, lost wages, and emotional trauma.
Jessica has represented victims of car and truck accidents involving distracted or impaired drivers, unsafe road conditions, and negligent commercial operators. She also handles premises liability cases stemming from unsafe properties, including injuries caused by falls, inadequate maintenance, or lack of proper security. As an aggressive litigator, Jessica takes pride in providing caring and personalized service to each of her clients. Her deep understanding of Kentucky law and her attention to detail make her a strong advocate inside and outside the courtroom.
In addition to her personal injury work, Jessica continues to represent clients in complex product liability cases involving defective medical devices and dangerous pharmaceuticals. She has handled cases against manufacturers of metal-on-metal hip replacements, such as the Depuy Pinnacle and ASR, Stryker Rejuvenate, Stryker ABG II, and Zimmer Durom systems, which have been linked to severe complications including metallosis and the need for multiple revision surgeries. She also has experience in cases involving other defective products and various harmful medications.
Jessica earned her undergraduate degree in accounting from Western Kentucky University and her law degree from the University of Kentucky. She is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Kentucky Justice Association, and the American, Kentucky, and Bowling Green-Warren County Bar Associations. An active member of her community, she is a graduate of the Leadership Bowling Green program and Elevate – a Leadership Kentucky Program. She has served on the boards of the Western Kentucky University Young Alumni Council, the American Red Cross of South Central Kentucky, and the Bowling Green-Warren County Bar Association and currently serves on the board of Junior Achievement of South Central Kentucky.
